I am a 24 year old member of AMORC from Kent, England. I'm currently in
the second degree, and am enjoying the studies and excercises.
My researches since my inauguration in the organisation and the
subsequent intiations have led me to other organisations in the Western
Mystery Tradition and other groups who could be considered
'Rosicrucian' (which is hard to define in the first place!).
During the aforementioned researches, this google group was always a
source of inside knowledge that one could not find elsewhere, and I've
learnt a lot. Consequently, I decided to join! I look forward to
discussing with very learned people like yourselves,
and I hope I'm welcome in this group.
If there are any conventions/rules, please inform me and I shall
happily confrom.
Peace Profound

There are no conventions or formal rules that specifically apply to
Usenet, only those that apply in the outside world.
I believe it is possible to complain to Google Groups about conduct on
groups, but I've only ever seen that mentioned once, and I have no
knowledge of what rules Google Groups applies.
Due to the way newsgroup technology works, with backups on a number of
mirrored servers around the world - owned by any number of entities -
anything Google did would not likely be very effective.
You can pretty well much post whatever you want- though that 'freedom'
is - at least karmically - something that comes back to bite those who
abuse it.
