berlin component update problem

delphi berlin

i have try to update rosi component to version from 3.2.2020

delete old component

change to a new path

RosiDBComp_dx101.dpk installed

but when try to install sorter component get this error:

brcc32 command line for "RosiDBSorters_DX101.dpk"
[dcc32 fatal error] RosiDBComp_dx101.dpk(29): E2225 Never-build package 'rtl' must be recompiled
[dcc32 fatal error] RosiDBSorters_DX101.dpk(41): E2202 Required packagege 'RosiDBComp_dx101' not found

Hello, nobody else reportes similar issue. Anyway it looks as common problem according RAD forum.

Please make certain that the Build parameter within the options all package is set to the "Rebuild As Needed".

It could be also caused by the shared directory for more RAD versions. Be sure that BPL directory is set different for each RAD version.

i made it in a new computer,new delphi installation and it works.

Seemed it is some issue between old and a new version

Hello, exactly as you wrote - you mixed old and new version of the package, probably some old version of the RosiDBComp_dx101.dpk is stored and used. Uninstall Rosi packages, delete all old Rosi dpk+dcp files and try to install again, it should help.
