In the filter grid (under column name) by default, the filter is case sensitive, how to make INSENSITIVE (ANSI conversion or ascii at least)

Hi,

filtering is done by Dataset itself, rDBGrid just set the filter condition.

You can set case sensitivity by OptionsEx2.Filter.FilterCaseSensitivity property. 

    { define filter options used for grid filtering }
    property FilterCaseSensitivity: TOptionFilterCaseSensitivityType read FFilterCaseSensitivity write FFilterCaseSensitivity default fcsDoNotChange;

  { filter case options for TrDBGrid }
  TOptionFilterCaseSensitivityType = (fcsDoNotChange, fcsCaseInsensitive, fcsCaseSensitive);

By default it is  fcsDoNotChange and it means the current dataset setting is used. You can change it to  fcsCaseInsensitive.

Anyway it depends on used dataset type if it is supported by dataset or not.
