Skate and Create - This Friday at 5pm!

Skate on over to Gallery 80808 this Friday October 3 from 5pm - Until;
for Skate and Create, a unique art show using skateboards of all
shapes, sizes, ages and conditions as media and/or inspiration. Free
Drinks and Hors d'Oeuvres. The Adam Gardner Jazz Quartet - Live
starting at 6pm. Artwork will be available for purchase October 3-5,
all proceeds go to POUR IT NOW - 501c3 to rebuild the skatepark at
Owens Field.

Local and National artists have once again donated their time and
energy to support the cause of building the first concrete skatepark
in South Carolina right here in Columbia at Owens Field. Curator,
POUR IT NOW volunteer and Bluetile Skateshop Owner, David Toole has
organized this event for the second year in a row. Skate and Create
challenges the artists to make something new and original from a
conventional skateboard.
