Hi Rose Petal!!2
I’m writing to ask for your help in spreading the word about an event I’m organizing at Floris on 12/6. It is a wonderful event where 3rd – 5th graders will have a chance to learn what it can be like for kids with developmental delays such as fine motor, communication, ADHD, ability to read other people’s emotions, sensory processing problems, etc. This year we are targeting 3 grades instead of 2, the event is very volunteer intensive, and it takes place during the day so I haven’t been able to fill all the slots. Would you take a moment to think of friends who might really enjoy participating in this event and send them the link below? It is better if they are Floris parents, but anyone who has a love of kids and would like to help kids learn how to be kinder to those with special challenges would be welcome!!! Are you ready for this year's "Walk in my Shoes" event (WIMS)? WIMS, scheduled for December 6, is an in-school event designed to increase awareness and understanding of some of the challenges faced not only by our fellow students, but also by members of our community and the world. Parent-volunteers will lead activities on this in-school event for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. If you'd like to get involved, please sign up to help at
