Bake Sale April 6th at 6pm at Floris!!

Hi Rose Petal!

Just wanted to let you know that Nicole's Girl Scout troop is hosting a bake sale on Thursday, 4/6, from 6pm to 8:30pm as part of their Bronze Award to raise money for a wonderful charity. The bake sale will happen during the Floris Art Tech/Stem night (you can register for that here if you want: http://florispta.org/2017/03/26/have-you-heard-about-tech-art/ registration is required ahead of time for the art night) or you can just come by and get a brownie from Nicole and her fellow scouts. The girls will also sell pizza, water, and a little craft related to the charity's mission of reducing stress and pain of kids who have serious illnesses. This charity strives to bring yoga, meditation, massage, etc. to children at the DC Children's Hospital Heart Institute, and also to provide children with yoga mats and stress-relieving toys and gift certificates for home yoga classes once they get to go home. It really is a beautiful thing and they are just getting started so we have a chance to make a big impact here!

Also, if you love the idea of Art/STEM night and want to volunteer to work an art station they are still looking for parents to help out. I'm happy to connect you or share more about it!
