Bernita and I drove over to KC Community Gardens today and got our free seeds and plants and chemical fertilizer. We also bought some organic fertilizer to use on the vegetables (we thought we could use the chemical variety on flowers).
Jim Williams will help me load the tiller on the church's pick-up tomorrow morning and I will take it to the garden and see if I can get our area tilled during the daytime and then maybe we can plant during the Tuesday night work session or Saturday morning.
We have: 30 plants (3 6-packs of cabbages, and 2 6-packs of collards)
11 packets of seeds: 2 spinach
1 ea. of 2 kinds of radishes
1 ea. of 3 kinds of lettuce
1 bush bean
1 basil
1 cilantro
