It was fun using the Rainbow tiller since the garden had been tilled last Fall and was soft. But when the Hilltop tiller arrived (new rear design), I could tell that our older front design was not as good as theirs! Also, it was a hassle getting the tiller loaded onto the church pick-up and returning it -- thanks to Jim Williams and Freddy for their help.

Bernita and Freddy helped plant the onions, potatoes, mustard greens, etc. I mainly ran the tiller and pulled up rocks.

It was fun to work with the volunteers from Rosedale UCC and St. Paul AME Zion. Spreading the 100 pounds of organic chicken manure was the only unpleasant part of the project, but mainly Joe Heide and young Frank took care of that.
