Subject: Feedback Needed for Proposed Commercial Construction and Demolition Materials Ordinance

Good morning Everyone,

Metro Water Services Division of Waste Services, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office, has started engaging the community this week about an upcoming proposal for an ordinance that would require diversion of commercially generated construction and demolition materials from landfill.  There are five public meetings next week as well an online form to gain feedback from the community. If you could share the resources below with your networks and encourage folks to provide their input, this will inform the final ordinance that they will submit to Metro Council for approval. Also attached is a flyer with the public meeting information.
