Traffic Calming in Rosebank (Next Neighborhood Meeting 9/16)

We are happy to announce that Rosebank has been selected for a project with the Metro Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program to reduce the negative impacts of cut-thru traffic in our neighborhood! We first submitted a neighborhood application in January 2019 to be a part of this program. The focus of our application was the area of Mitchell/Preston/Potter, which is subject to a lot of cut-thru traffic and speeding near the elementary school. The focus of our next neighborhood meeting will be to discuss the available traffic calming measures and design. This neighborhood meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th from 6:00-7:30 PM. • There will be a Planning Commission public hearing for the Brittany/Barclay Contextual Overlay and the new Harwood/Preston Contextual Overlay on Thursday, August 26th, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Howard Office Building.  https://www.nashville.gov/departments/planning/boards/planning-commission/meetings

• Do you have ideas for the future of East Bank? There is an open planning and design workshop tonight where you can share your ideas with Metro Planning.
