missing mysql option for utf8mb4?

on page https://metacpan.org/pod/Rose::DB::MySQL there is an option
mysql_enable_utf8 but no option mysql_enable_utf8mb4

however on page https://metacpan.org/pod/DBD::mysql there's an mb4
option, and in general mb4 is supported there.

Do you think support for mysql_enable_utf8mb4 should be added?

Rose::DB tests will fail on DBD::mysql pre-2015-June. Because there was no utf8mb4 support on DBD::mysql back then. Is that a problem with you?
