From sports to sparkles, your Galaxy phone has a theme for every style. You can customize the Galaxy themes, Samsung wallpapers, and icons on your device to fit your tastes. A theme can also change the color design for Contacts, Messages, Settings, and the Quick settings panel, so your device can truly be your own. And if you have a Samsung account, you can even download themes or icons you've already purchased on another device. To finish giving your device the perfect custom look, you can browse the phone cases available on our website.

You keep everything on your phone, including private information. With Secure Folder, you can hide your personal data using a special passcode. That way, no one will see anything you don't want them to see.

Sometimes app developers will release updates to fix bugs, or make improvements to their apps on the Play Store or Galaxy Store. Keeping your apps updated is the best way to make sure you always have the latest features and the best performance. You don't have to worry about keeping track of updates for every single app on your phone or tablet, however. You can turn on auto-updates and let it do it for you.

I have asked for dark mode to add theming ability ever since it came out. There was a certain version of the GTS that accidentally added that and people loved it. I got many reviews from people being happy that it was added.

The best feature for us, designers, but also for the users, would be to allow the user to select (easily) a different theme for dark mode. Then the theme(s) are coherent and the user will have the dark/light mode working very well. And we may sell more themes.

I think this matter is not taken as seriously as it should. I worked for 8 years as a mobile technician, met plenty of other technicians, came across a lot of clients (like a lot a lot) and I can say with absolute certainty there are many, many users who choose their smartphones (especially the rather younger ones) based on how much they can customize them. So, implementing this dark mode feature will not only improve theme sales (being able to create 2 themes in 1), but also the mobile device sales and I strongly believe that this improvement would be quite noticeable (not to mention that everyone on the planet would talk about it).

So a HUGE waste of money. I have bought many themes from the themes shop and now NOT ONE of my keyboards shows the new theme. They have all reverted back to the original grey/ black keyboard. Also any new themes I get, the keyboard doesn't change to the new theme. Thanks Samsung, you really know how to push your customers over to Apple. How can you keep advertising nice keyboards in your theme shop and then not giving us what we paid for. Blatant false advertising just to trick us into spending money and then not delivering what we bought. Fix this or face a class action lawsuit.

The themes are written by developers not Samsung @Interceptor22 so it might be beneficial to contact the developer of the theme to explain whats happening i.e the bug with keyboard and rhey may be able to help.

Thank you very much for the info. The reason I said Samsung is that the lack of keyboard support is coming from all the developers themes so I thought it must be the new Samsung update that has stopped the themes coming through more than the developers themselves.

My phone just updated as well and my keyboard theme no longer works. Way togo Samsung! Ugly flat keyboard that I paid for. Doesn't matter I shouldn't have to wait for a dev to fix when it was samsung that didnt make sure themes would stay working

So I just spent a ton of money on another Galaxy phone (despite all the trouble I had with the last galaxy) to keep my themes & you just didn't bother to fix this issue?! I think this phone is going back to the store & I'll find an adroid phone where the makers care about thier customers & the hudge amount of money spent on their products!

I bought a Samsung Galaxy phone a few years ago while i was in Czech Republic as an expat and i also created a Samsung account to make the most of my device. My account is using the English language as a preference

I moved back to Greece and recently i bought an S23 phone from the Greek market. After logging on with my Samsung account i started customizing my phone by selecting apps and themes from Samsung store and galaxy themes app respectively.

Galaxy Themes for some reason keeps showing Czech language in it's content page. Samsung experts told me that it pulls up data from a lot of sources and also checks the country the account has been created to, before showing content on user's screen and that i should create a new Samsung account in Greece to solve my issue.

So i created a new account using a different email and i used it to log on to Samsung account and Galaxy Themes.
To my surprise the problem still remains. I see Czech language in Galaxy Themes app and i have no idea what else to do. I tried clearing cache and data from the app but the problem is still there.

I opened a ticket to the Czech Samsung support and i am waiting for a possible response.

Anyone ever had that issue?????

I managed to find the solution myself.
Looks like Galaxy Themes app reads country/language data from the last sim card in line. I have 2 sim cards one Greek and one Czech. I switches slots (Greek sim slot 2 - Czech sim slot 1) which resolved the problem.

This behavior happens ONLY got Galaxy Themes app. The rest of the apps such like Store etc work based on the country/language settings i have on my Samsung account.

Bottom line is i deleted my initial account probably for nothing and Samsung's junior support have no feedback from the actual devs behind the apps.

@karyodevel hello, the execution in dark mode, is subject to the development of each application. If the developer has not developed his application to be executed in dark mode, this is not possible.
So it is a suggestion towards third-party app developers. Greetings.

This has been a thorn in my side for quite some time now. I eventually gave up on themes entirely, and created a custom one. There's a 3rd party app called Theme Park that lets you create custom dark mode themes (or light mode, or...). It's a bit of work to get it set up, and you don't get quite the same versatility you would with a customized launcher experience, but I've found it to be an effective compromise.

Before that, I just enabled dark mode manually in most of my apps (you can do it in chrome by adding the flag manually, for example) but with things like Samsung Health or a particular chat app I use, there's no manual dark mode adjustment so you need to toggle it from the drop-down below the notification shade, which is cumbersome and unintuitive.

I completely hear you. I have no idea why Samsung hasn't at least given creators the option of uploading custom dark-mode themes to the samsung store, by now, or why themes can't be created for tablets. (That's actually how I started using Theme Park in the first place.)

I wish you luck!

We have a UE49KS7500 (Firmware 1260) that has been stuck on 0.94 of the app from the store (that still had the seasonal themes that are no longer in the newer versions ), and it would "hang" on startup in as much as the "Continue Watching" bar wouldn't load, which signing out and in again would tend to fix (sometimes takes a few goes).

I tried 1.4.6 a few weeks ago and found that there were only Dark and Black themes, so reverted and never got round to checking/asking on here. I just tried 1.4.8 and seen the same with the themes, so guess we have to live with the loss of Blue Radiance. I'll see how it goes with the "hanging". If it persists I'll start a separate thread.

After I updated the themes and then reapplied them. I pressed the power button then pressed it again to see the lockscreen andddd...... that's when my phone went into an eternal limbo. The screen was black and the only thing I could see was the status bar kept popping in and going away until the phone eventually turned itself off. The phone rebooted itself enough times to the point where it went into a weird recovery screen where it gave me three options, one of which was to go into safe mode. So I did and holy crap, it fixed my phone!

From there I experimented with different themes, those worked perfectly fine. So it seems that the only logical conclusion here is... The themes that Samsung makes are broken! So now I have to use the default theme until they fix them if I want a usable phone.

Yeah they're kind of bad lol. Keep in mind that Samsung themes still work for me, it's just the 6 or so themes made by Samsung that are bugged. What's funny is that the new update didn't even fix the issues that the themes used to have, text is still hard to read on My files...

A part of me thinks that this issue could be from the June patch like other people reported, but I only had this issue with these specific themes so I really can't say... Either way, if you know anyone who's having boot loops on their S10 just suggest them to go into safe mode before they try a factory reset, it automatically re-applied the default theme for me which saved me the hassle of doing a factory reset on the phone.

Galaxy Themes is the official Samsung app for modifying your smartphone's theme. If you're tired of the way your smartphone looks, this app offers tons of options for giving your smartphone a fresh look whenever you want. It's incredibly simple and intuitive, and you can find it preinstalled on your Samsung smartphone.
