Hi, Benoit.

That sounds like an old bug that I fixed quite a while ago, in brown-ros-pkg revision 1566.  It may be the case that the fix was never packaged for the Lucid repository -- I'm pretty sure Willow had deprecated that repo by then.  If that's the problem, I'll see whether it's possible to get the package updated.  In the meantime, you can try making the fix yourself.  In ws.py, in the serveForever method, there's a line in the try block about 9 lines into the method, "outgoing = []".  Move that line up a few lines to before the beginning of the try block, right after the line "incoming = []".

If that helps, great.  Otherwise the problem is something else, and I'm going to have to try to track down a Lucid installation and see what I can figure out.

    Hi guys,
I try to test my application on several ubuntu and ros versions.
    I got the following trouble.
My applications works on ubuntu 11.10 /ros electric. I tried to import it
on ubuntu 10.04 still ros/electric but I got an error subscribing to a
topic. And then the socket "closed 9".
    Any suggestion ?
    Benoit
