Dear Family and Friends,

We are so grateful to our dear Lord to be home with Joshua and our three other precious children Maile, Noah, and Christian. Upon our entry into our home, I felt like a guest in my own home. I don’t quite know how to explain it, but I felt that the Lord had given me new eyes to see through.  I will now have to put my complete trust in Him and let Him guide me because I don’t know the way. But, I do know he is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

As we enter into the fall season, my family has entered into a new season in our life, too.  I don’t know what this season will bring us, but I will have hope. This is what I do know. I know Joshua has LCH and I know it’s a rare form of cancer. Beyond that knowledge, I do not have any.  Yes, I could thoroughly research it, but I just can’t do it. I’m so scared. I can’t even bear the thought of losing my child. And, this is the reason why I have to place all my being into the palm of God’s hand.

Lastly, I do not know how we will ever be able to thank all of you for your outpouring of love for our dear Joshua. Words alone could never ever express our gratitude to you.  Please know that we are praying for you, too, and that Joshua and our family will offer up all our sufferings for you, as well.
