Dear Family and Friends,

Happy Easter!  We pray you are well. Joshua is having his routine scans tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23rd, at ARA Midtown in Austin, TX.  The first scan will be a full body skeletal survey to check for cancer.  Then the next scan will be a CT scan of his skull. These two scans have been ordered to monitor his cancer and to determine how the skull is fusing together.  After completion of the scans, Joshua will meet with his oncologist, Dr. Cooksey, on Friday, April 26th, at 2:40, at the Blood and Cancer Center.  At this time, we will know the current status of his cancer.

On Thursday, May 2nd, at 9:00, Joshua will have an appointment with the cranial/facial reconstructive doctors.  His cranial/facial surgeon, Dr. Patrick Kelley, and his neurosurgeon, Dr. Timothy George, will discuss his CT results with us and determine a treatment plan for the reconstruction of his skull.  This all is happening sooner than we had imagined and is quite overwhelming. 

We humbly ask you to pray for our dear Joshua and our entire family.  Please pray that we are prepared to receive whatever the Lord’s will is for our son.  Also, please start praying fervently for all his doctors.  Pray unceasingly that the Holy Spirit will guide all their decisions and that they will be prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually to heal Joshua.

Lastly, thank you for your continued prayers.  You remain in our prayers, as well. Jesus, we trust in you.
