Whyyou cribbing for them using a smaller rear end plate?
That car is fine and a unique oppertunity for a regular person to drive a F1 car without having own one.
Anyway the tall driver did a better job than the current FIA president at the Dubai motorsport track.
Veteran producer and B-movie showman, Sam Sherman, will take his newly restored reissue of the Independent-International Pictures library of B-Movie drive-in films on a retro roadshow. The camp classics tour will be screened across the nation on drive-in big screens. The road show kicks off on May 26 at the Circle Drive-In Theatre in Dickson city, Pennsylvania with a screening of the Al Adamson cult classic, Dracula vs. Frankenstein.
Dracula and the Frankenstein monster both lived through times of community crises, being chased from town to town with torches while children strung garlic. This is a time of National Emergency, people are being advised to stay at home. How can the public keep a safe distance from potential germ-laden crowds? Well, drive-in theaters are coming to the rescue.
I recently purchased a new 2TB hard drive to replace the Frankenstein build I currently use in my server. Seeing as that a lot of storage space, and these 2TB drives have a higher tendency of being defective, I'm looking for various ways to test it out before I use it.
I just did this on 2 Western Digital 2Tb Green drives and the Short SMART check took about 2 minutes the Extended check took about 8 hours or so and the badblocks check took about 43 hours for each drive. For the badblocks check I did use the non-destructive read-write mode and since these won't be encrypted I wrote 1's instead of choosing the Random option. Also, using Random would have at least doubled the time to finish.
Philosophy is looking for a black cat in a dark room. Metaphysics is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there. Religion is looking for a black cat in a dark room that isn't there and shouting "I found it!". Science is looking for a black cat in a dark room with a flashlight.
A definite option but one that will prevent the user from accessing the system running it. The OP indicated they wanted to check a new HDD prior to use so I gave options that would allow them to do that and still retain a functional system while doing so. If they wanted to check the drive/partition their OS was installed on then a boot CD is pretty much required as most of these kinds of checks should really only be made on an unmounted drive/partition if I remember correctly.
do vendors take back hdds if it is found to have bad sectors? I haven't purchased one in a few years now, but I was just curious whether you would have to return to manufacturer or to the local vendor
Most e-taliers probably will if you're referring to a new HDD that "should" be in perfect condition as long as you get it back to them within the defined period for defective items. Manufacturers maybe a different story once a device has been used, especially if it has been used for some time. I'm about to find out as once my new 2Tb HDD's are fully up and running I'll be trying to RMA their 1Tb predecessors. All I can suggest is review the warranty on the manufacturer website.

Like anything else, things have their day. Just like we have the pandemic now, indoor theaters are closed, and drive-ins are reopening. The old ones are being fixed up. And there is a big phenomenon known as pop up drive-ins, where in an empty field they put up a screen and a projector and boom, they have a drive-in.
Anybody can play anything on a screen, but most of those were designed for streaming and indoor theaters and that sort of thing. But what we have here, restored digitally to HD, is authentic drive-in movies for drive-in theaters. And I think a lot of young people who have never gone to drive-ins, or who have never seen a drive-in movie in a drive-in theater, will want to embrace the experience.
Do you think this crisis could lead to a revival of drive-ins long term? I feel like people are going to be a little wary of going back into indoor theaters even once this has subsided.

This week I was invited to HR Vision. It is a meet-up of leaders in HR and Talent to share ideas on how to solve complex problems affecting people within their organisations. To be honest, the experience blew me away, but the real wonder of the event was meeting a long-bearded gentlemen called Julian Stodd.
To borrow the words from Julian, we've shifted from the Digital Age to a new Social Age. What this means is that in order for us to get stuff done, we need to operate in a far more fluid, collaborative and intelligent way. In our roles as leaders and influencers we must master the "how" in connecting with people. Yes, this also means connecting with the Frankenstein's. The investment however, will be worth it. By now I'm sure many of you are intrigued and simultaneously thinking "Ok Dean, so how do we do that then?". Stay with me...
It would be wise to mention the risk component. You need to have thick skin and a tough stomach for this one. For all the effort you expend, you'll be sharing your ideas without any expectation of reciprocity or recognition. Julian talks about this point at length in his book. But, the reward in the long-run is that you'll come to be regarded as a reputable influencer within the organisation. Over the long-term, the more you do this, the more your social reputation grows. It requires tenacity, patience and discipline. Putting the marshmallow back in favour of two later, is the mindset to adopt here...
Tip 2: Build your network of expert advisers. There is a crucial advantage in your ability to use your network of industry leaders to help you solve problems in your business. Diversity of expert advice helps you to explore a problem from different perspectives. Not only is this a powerful way to problem-solve, it is also fast and extremely cheap. So long as you offer to pay for lunch, your expert friends will generally be more than happy to share their opinion of what they would do in your shoes (of course these are issues that are non-confidential). If you find these insights useful, you can bet your top dollar your stakeholders will find them useful. By leveraging your contacts, you rely not just on your own brain, but your expert-friends brains to find solutions to issues facing your business.
Tip 3: Think about the future. As the future becomes worryingly difficult to predict in the context economics and politics, it makes problem-solving more challenging. The bulls-eye is fluid and unless you're omnipotent, you will struggle. Everyone is struggling. What we do know, is that with advances in technology, not only is engaging employees and customers more difficult; this is underpinned by a world that is increasingly inter-connected. The question here is how do you get stuff done, when the right answer today, could be the wrong answer tomorrow? Arguably, this is the environment in which the Social Leader will excel. When no-one has a scooby about what the future will look like, oddly everyone talks more about what to do next. It's odd isn't it? Thankfully, we have a label to describe this. "Noise". The Social Leader, is able to rise above the noise, and being to tap into their network of experts, and co-create tactics with the business, with no expectation of reward. Yes, this all sounds very altruistic, but there is a serious underlying power to influence in the ability to get things done and provide valuable insights, above the "noise". Not only will you sway the Frankensteins into action. You'll be sought out as an expert who can help to demystify the unknown and help to shape part of the strategic direction in your business. The classic "push-pull" version of getting things done just isn't working. So the ability to collaborate and assign meaning on the data, helps you to facilitate and drive responses to problems on the horizon.
