I'm starting to look at prototyping/designs for "ROS 2 message definitions" project (
https://github.com/ros2/ros2/issues/1159) and looking for collaborators. There are a few possible approaches, and I don't think without some basic attempts at implementation we will know which one is the way we should go.
Let me know if you want to join forces! As a possible first step, we can have a breakout meeting to brainstorm the possible approaches, then each pick one to prototype.
