im failed to subcribe ROS message

Hello im using Myrio (NI) for developing something systerm

and im trying to learn labview few days ago. so i didnt know well about labview

but i wanna receive some nodes and message in ROS.

so i published message "/chatter" node and "std_msgs/String" type " hello world" message.

but i failed to receive message on Example/myrio/SubscribeToTopic.Vi

im so nervous now.

i saw tutorial document and i did all of things in pdf file.

but finally i met some errors in this picture. but i dont know what should i do.

Hello. Are you communicating to the myRIO over wifi or USB? You need the be on the same network as the myRIO to communicate with it. It works best if you connect to the myRIO over wifi instead of USB. If you have connect over USB, open the ROS Terminal (located under ROS Tool) and change your IP address to 172.22.11.1.

thx to reply message for me

yeah i connected with myrio on ethernet hub

my ROS PC published message "hello world" every second

and my make a setting like ROS PC is master " 192.168.0.1" and then

myrio is "192.168.0.3"

and then i setted my window PC as "192.168.0.2"

so i did modify my labview code on Window PC.

i tried to connect with ROS PC on myrio project run it.

i saw IP address command window when i did run myrio labview project.

so i tried to change it as "192.168.0.1:11311"

but i cant see anything change. did i have a wrong?

When you run ROS Terminal.vi, is the boolean indicator called Live true?

Am I correct that you have three devices? 1 myRIO and 2 computers? Are you using LabVIEW as a Master or using a master on Linux?

Hello Whitney

Sorry for using this post to ask about my problem. I use master on linux and connected to myRIO over wifi. I try to subscribe data from master in ubuntu. myRIO success to connected to ROS ubuntu. topic and node also could be displayed by rostopic list and rosnode list in ubuntu. but message that I send from publisher cannot be subscribed

Hi, Kim Doo Hyung,

you should point the node to the master, look in the ROS palette for a block with the functionality to configure the pointing to the master that is in linux, which should be his IP.
