They are similar for base LabVIEW, LabVIEW MathScript (can use with the .m files you have developed in MATLAB® or GNU Octave .m files), & LabVIEW Control Design and Simulation Module. For real-time and FPGA development with roboRIO, you need the Windows version of LabVIEW and the add-ons.
