powering the kinect from the pioneer p3dx base, how to ?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have tried powering the kinect sensor via the pioneer mobile base. As far as I know there are two aux pins for 5v and 12 v supply from the p3dx base. 
However, I do not know how to use this pins. If someone can help me would be great. 

I am using the platform using ROS hydro on ubuntu system (laptop), no dedicated microprocessor on the robot.
