I am new to ROS nav_stack. I am searching right now the existing packages which provide a local planner that includes obstacle avoiding too. I am already familiar with "base_local_planner", "DWA_local_planner" and the "TEB_local_planner". I want to know if there exists other local planners that provide obstacle avoiding. I wuld appreciate if you share with me the packages that you know which provide a local planner.
Also, personally I am interested in a strategy for avoiding obstacles with a Virtual Potential Field. But I did not find any packages in ROS that works with this strategy. Do you have some packages in your mind?
