Hi all,
I know most of the work on mm is pretty hackish and case-specific at this point, but if anybody has simple example implementations for any of the approaches (foreign_relay, master_sync), please consider posting whatever information you think might be useful for others (code snippets for getting started, etc.). It would be helpful for newcomers and would jump start others into being able to contribute to mm development :)
Cheers,
Kavan

Unfortunately, master_sync is currently broken in Fuerte. I cannot
comment on foreign_relay.

What a shame. Fortunately, I'm still in the stone age of Electric... :) Do you know of anyone who's currently working on master_sync for Fuerte?

Just FYI, foreign_relay still works in Fuerte as I've been using it regularly

try out http://www.ros.org/wiki/node_manager_fkie. If you have a configuration (launch file) for multi robot system with a single ROS master, you can use node_manager_fkie to run this configuration as multimaster (without any configuration changes). Only the ROS_MASTER_URI must be set properly...

Interesting! I'll take a look at it. Does it work with Electric?
