Maybe this is something that has already been discussed, but I don't seem to be able to find it: perhaps it would be useful if you could layout, to the best of your knowledge (and of course if you have time, we know how busy / out of the loop you are), what do you think that migrating to Kinetic would entail in terms of what will need to be done?
Also, May I suggest that you re-post using
the Discourse list, since we have moved all ROS traffic (including rosjava) to that system a while back?
