Raspberry PI 3 was released yesterday.
https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspberry-pi-3-on-sale/

It looks like it will be similar to the dragonboard in terms of specs and has additional IO.
This might be a great board for ROS Embedded?

I think I might use it instead of the dragonboard, given that it has a built in ethernet port and that it supports Ubuntu.

Yeah, I suspect it will be popular.  It's already being used at Erle: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/03/03/pi_3_autopilot/
