I believe you can mould it in your own dictatorial style to some extent - mostly because everybody just loves someone to step up ;)
Organising online meetings, schedules, bringing focus and getting consensus from everyone to make a decision. That's probably a good start.

As with most things in the ROS world, it's something of a roll-you-own. Part of the responsibilities could reasonably be making sure the discussion moves along, that we meet deadlines for deciding things to get into new releases, and being the main point-of-contact for the effort.

Sorry to come to the party late. Just finished (more or less) moving me, my family, and (bits of) my lab across the US. I'll have somewhat limited availability for the next couple of weeks as I settle into the new gig at Oregon State University, but don't interpret my intermittent silence as disinterest.
