What I would like to see is a "hello world" demo for ROS. Take 2 machines and have the first machine run code of a robot/machine in simulation as a client in the system and have the second machine be the controlling console. This does 2 things for me. 1 - it proves beyond a doubt that what we put together does work. 2 - it gives us a starting point for replacing items and knowing that the rest of the system works. I really hate having to fix 5 unrelated things at a time because I have not be able to isolate where the problem really is. I am of the belief that these items exist but do they exist in this form?
