HELP 0_o I have about a week to get this Pepper working.

Pepper been sitting unused since 2018

Boots up okay responds by turning and looking at stuff but no tablet functions other than Volume control/alert volume when pressing all three back side Tablet buttons

I am completely new  to this and people want it to greet at next weeks college open day -_-

It is great to see a Pepper coming back to life =)
This one is running NAOqi 2.5. It has a very limited tablet software (compared to 2.9).

This group is for using ROS on Pepper.

If you want ROS on Pepper, I think you need ROS installed on a computer connected to the same network as the robot, install the NAOqi driver: https://github.com/ros-naoqi/naoqi_driver, and the MoveIt configuration to control it directly : https://github.com/ros-naoqi/pepper_moveit_config

If someone has a more comprehensive guide, please share!
