Integrating Ros_control with Moveit!

Hello

We are working ona manipulator arm for a university project. We are using ROS -Indigo and Ubuntu TRUSTY . So far we have been able to interface Moveit! with Ros_control using " gazebo_ros ". But I need to know is there any other way to achieve that ??
