Thetrailer shows how Harun eventually falls fowl of the administration and his own people turn against him, which begins a chain reaction of violence and mayhem as the strongman looks to reassert his dominance on his kingdom. He makes it clear that he is willing to go to any length to get what he wants even if that means resorting to crude violence and murders.

Directed by Navdeep Singh (of NH10 and Manorama Six Feet Under fame), Rangbaaz - Darr Ki Rajneeti also stars Rajesh Tailang, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Prashant Narayanan, Vijay Maurya, Sudhanva Deshpande, Soham Majumdar and Ashok Pathak. The show is set to stream on Zee5 from July 29.

MUMBAI: Popular gangster drama web series 'Rangbaaz' is returning with its third season. The series stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Aakanksha Singh, Rajesh Tailang, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Prashant Narayanan, Vijay Maurya, Sudhanva Deshpande, Soham Majumdar and Ashok Pathak.

The trailer shows Vineet's character of Haroon Shah Ali Baig aka Saheb getting released from jail after 11 years where he was imprisoned for over 32 criminal charges including murder, kidnapping and extortion.

The character will lay claim to his territory with the single motive to contest and win the elections making it clear that he is willing to go to any length to get what he wants even if that means resorting to violence and murder.

Commenting on the occasion of the trailer release, Vineet Kumar Singh said, "I had so many reasons to jump on-board and be a part of 'Rangbaaz - Darr ki Rajneeti'. First, Ajay Rai (producer) is someone I have worked with in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Mukkabaz' and he is my lucky charm. It's always a good experience working with him. Secondly, I have always wanted to work with Navdeep Singh as I love his movies."

He praised Siddharth Mishra for sketching up a compelling script with characters that have immense depth, "Thirdly, Siddharth Mishra has written an excellent script with beautifully layered characters. My character has all the things that an actor would want in a script."

'Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti', directed by Sachin Pathak and written by Siddharth Mishra, has been helmed by Navdeep Singh, who is known for films like the Anushka Sharma-starrer 'NH10' and 'Manorama Six Feet Under'.

'Rangbaaz - Darr Ki Rajneeti' is centred around Vineet Kumar Singh's character, Haroon Shah Ali Baig (also known as Saheb) who is a gangster-turned-politician, Robin Hood style. This season charts his rise from a small town in Bihar to becoming one of its most powerful strongmen.

Actress Aakanksha Singh said, "I was aware about Rangbaaz's legacy when I took on this season but it is only now that I realise the responsibility that follows. 'Rangbaaz' has a massive fan following and so, we are excited and nervous to please the fans with this season."

"From Navdeep sir (the showrunner) and Sachin (our director) to the team of writers and producers, it truly was a dream team to work with. We have had an incredible time shooting for this season and I hope that the magic translated on-screen as well", she added.

ZEE5 is back with season 2 of their flagship show Rangbaaz Phirse. As seen in the trailer, the show is taking the genre of crime thriller a notch higher. While we have seen the first season was based on Shiv Prakash Shukla, a local gangster from Gorakhpur, the main character was essayed by Saqib Saleem.

In Rangbaaz Phirse, Jimmy Sheirgill is the lead actor who plays the role of Amarpal Singh, while Sushant Singh essays the role of his friend, Sharad Kelkar is seen as a vicious villain, Gul Panag is a close confidant to Amarpal Singh, Spruha Joshi plays his wife and As seen in the trailer, Zeeshan Ayyub will be seen portraying the role of a police officer.

It is the story of a young guy who falls through the cracks because of politics and is robbed of his youth which subsequently ruins his life. The trailer of Vineet Kumar Singh starrer Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti is finally here. The Navdeep Singh directorial follows the journey of a man from a small town middle-class family in Bihar to becoming one of the most powerful and influential men.

Moving on the trailer sees Vineets's Haroon Shah fighting in an election and along with criminals trying to be established as a politician. Meanwhile, Aakanksha Singh can be seen getting married to the actor and later questioning his reality.

Aakanksha took the latest trailer to her official Instagram handle and shared it with an interesting caption that reads, "Official Trailer Darr se ho ya izzat se, iss Rangbaaz ki dehshat hai harr kisike zehen mein! Apni Rangbaazi ka rang sabhi ko dikhane aa rahe hai Haroon Shah Ali Baig. #RangbaazOnZEE5 premieres 29th July (sic)."

After the humongous success of Karenjit Kaur, Zee 5 has come up with a new web-series titled Rangbaaz featuring Saqib Saleem in the lead role. The makers have just dropped the trailer of the crime drama web-series and we must say it looks like a riveting affair. Looking at the trailer, it looks like Saqib has perfectly captured the tone of the character and we are expecting him to deliver one of his finest performances of the career. The series is set against the rustic backdrop of the '90s in Gorakhpur and in the promo, we can see the cameraman perfectly capturing the essence of it.
