On the face of it, the liberal perspective on the issue of hijab seems clear and unambiguous: Pro-choice. In solidarity with the extraordinary women of Iran who in their ongoing struggle against the state-imposed hijab have put their lives on the line. In support of those Muslim girls in India who choose to wear the hijab to school contrary to the uniform prescribed by the management. However, the just-in split verdict of the two-judge bench of the Supreme Court on the subject has me torn. It leaves me, a Left-Liberal, at odds with me, a Progressive Muslim.

Ideally I'd like it to have the opposite effect, that is, to show the directory listing in a narrow split on the left hand side of the screen and show the file in a wide split on the right hand side of the screen.

The 28-year-old's trousers split in the middle during the concert, which was also attended by Kylie Jenner, Trevor Noah and Ellen DeGeneres. The awkward incident occurred when he was singing his hit song 'Music for a Sushi Restaurant'.

In the now-viral clips, Styles can be seen going down on his knees before making a shocked face to the crowd as he realised his pants had split. He quickly covered the rip with his hands and started walking backwards before apologising to the audience sitting in the front row.

I know the system is oversized but because it maintains the temperature within 1 degree of the setpoint and doesn't overshoot the setpoint temp, I don't think this is the problem. The jumpers that would enable the blower to turn off once the setpoint temp has been achieved have not been removed. If only one wall unit is powered on, the blower will run continuously. As soon as a second wall unit is powered on, the blowers will randomly turn off and on. It doesn't matter if the unit is calling for heat with the vane wide open or in standby mode with the vane almost closed. This makes no sense. Nobody seems to be able to figure this out. What I need to find out is what controls the blower. Is it dependant on the temperature? What causes the blower to turn off when in defrost mode? I think by getting a better understanding on what actually controls the blower, might give me a clue as to what the problem may be.

Tried an experiment today. Temp outside was 9 degrees this morning. The 18k wall unit in the living room / kitchen was running all night set to 65 degrees. Temp in room was 64 degrees. Other units off. System was in the middle of running a defrost cycle. Raised temp on 18k unit to 67 degrees. Waited for defrost cycle to finish. 18k system was now supplying plenty of heat. Turned on bedroom 12k wall unit and set temp to 67 degrees, temp in room 63 degrees. Turned on bathroom 6k wall unit and set temp to 67 degrees, temp in room 63 degrees. Both units almost immediately started to supply heat and blowers in all units were running. Vane and blowers in all units set to auto. After about 10 minutes I checked all units. 18k in living room / kitchen vane open blower running supplying plenty of heat. 12k in bedroom vane open blower off inside coils/fins cool to the touch. 6k in bathroom vane open blower off inside coils/fins cool to the touch. Approximate line lengths 18k living room / kitchen 25 feet, 12k bedroom 60 feet, 6k bathroom 35 feet. I know the system is oversized and maybe the blowers were shutting off at times to prevent a temperature overshoot but that was not the case this time. All units should have been running on full heat since the setpoint was 3-4 degrees higher than the actual room temp. This system is driving me crazy. Is there anybody out there that can help me figure out what is wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This chart shows the range in what each size can handle. It is never our intention to categorize riders and their preferences. Our philosophy of snowboarding is to try new shapes, lengths, widths, and to keep an open mind for alternative riding experiences; however, we do have some limits to consider so that your board will work as it was designed to.

There are many similar questions but most of the answers mention a tool that splits a single desktop into different areas and make it easy to move windows from one area to another, maximize in an area etc. This applies to DisplayFusion and nView Desktop. There are other paid tools that I haven't tried, Actual Tools and iShadow Virtual Display Manager, but they seem to be doing the same thing.

One comment I came across says the only way to do this is by using a dummy display emulator adapter. But I am unable to figure out how that will work: my laptop has only one HDMI port. Do I need to use a splitter?

I've got to the point where my bread springs beautifully (I can see it grow). Unfortunately, no matter how I score it, the score always spreads open gently, then hardens along with the rest of the crust. Then, 5 minutes later, the bread splits open at the side.

Frankly, although I did it for years, I don't find the plant sprayer method to do very much -- and if you're opening the oven periodically to spray in the first few minutes, you could be losing significant heat that could actually reduce oven spring. I concur with the steam pan method or using an enclosed pot. Note that pots don't have to be cast iron: any enclosed pot will significantly improve your crust as long as it is oven-safe at the baking temperature.

A lot of it depends on shaping and the stage of proofing your dough is in when you bake it, as well as the hydration. If you do a very thorough shaping (i.e., preshaping, bench rest, then very tight shaping of the final loaves), the outermost skin of the loaf may be very taut. Even a shallow slash could be enough to allow the loaves to open up significantly. If, on the other hand, you do a very gently shaping (little or no pre-shaping, trying very hard not to deflate the dough at all), the "skin" will not have the same characteristics and deeper slashes may be necessary. (As an example of this, you might consult the different advice given by Peter Reinhard and Jeffrey Hamelman -- the latter emphasizes detailed and tight shaping and thus advocates very shallow slashing; the former encourages gentle handling when shaping and advocates somewhat deeper cuts.)

What seems a straight cut at the finished batard often started as horizontal deep cut:
Hold the blade almost horizontally and make a cut that basically creates a flap of dough or "overlap" of 1.5 cm or more. Oven spring expands the overlap, giving these wide "bands" on the surface.

High hydration doughs are a bit "sticky", so vertical cuts are prone to be re-sealed by expanding dough: the cut is not "weak" enough to open. With horizontal cuts the pressure is way less, leaving it open or " expandable".

What's happening is that your bread crust is hardening before the expansion is done, and the crust splits at the weakest point. You need moisture to keep it soft and pliable until it stops expanding. The options are:

I have a wide table that doesn't fit in one page so I split the table in 2. The problem is that I need to keep almost the same caption (the second one has to add the word Continued to the caption) and exactly the same table number on both tables. I tried labelling both tables the same but it didn't work.

As far as I know you can only split your screen for two windows at a time.Either one on the left and one on the right,Or one on the top and one the bottom. And there are shortcuts associated for these actions which are:

You can manage "virtual desktops" with Super + "S", and then organize your workload accordingly by dragging open programs to the "virtual desktop" you want them to appear on. For example, I have my e-mail on one virtual desktop, my browsers on another, my file manager on another and whatever I am working on shown on my fourth virtual desktop... Yeah it's not exactly the same as what you are proposing - but unless you have a pretty big display, I do wonder just how useful having two or more "displays" on-screen at once is going to be (plus, this is a work-around that is guaranteed to work "out-of-the-box").

I would look at a program like Divvy on the Mac App Store for customizing a workspace with multiple tiled windows. It's not split view, but it's far more flexible and able to make use of the 27 inch display space to quite a granular basis.

After downloading, installing, and granting the app accessibility permissions in System Preferences, you'll be able to enable the default keyboard shortcut scheme, which allows you to press ctrl + opt + U/I/K/J to snap a window to the top left/top right/bottom right/bottom left, respectively. By assigning four windows each to one of these four positions, you can create a four-way split screen view (and if you enable Dock and Menu Bar hiding, you might be able to get a bit more screen real estate, if needed).

Hopefully something like this becomes a standard Mac feature. I like the split screen feature, but sometimes I want/need more than two screens. I found a pretty good solution on the Apps store that will let you have split screen, one window half/two in quarters, or 4 windows is quarters. It is called Magnet. Works great on OSx Sierra, and is much cheaper than Divvy. Here's the link!

A semi-detached building* is a building that abuts or shares a wall, on a side lot line, with another building on an adjoining zoning lot and where the remaining sides of the building are surrounded by open areas or street lines.

A transfer of development rights (TDR) allows for the transfer of unused development rights from one zoning lot to another in limited circumstances, usually to promote the preservation of historic buildings, open space or unique cultural resources. For such purposes, a TDR may be permitted where the transfer could not be accomplished through a zoning lot merger. In the case of a landmark building, for example, a transfer may be made by CPC special permit from the zoning lot containing the designated landmark to an adjacent zoning lot or one that is directly across a street or, for a corner lot, another corner lot on the same intersection.
