An early announcement of our ambassadors program

Hi all,

A blog post will soon follow but I wanted to let you all know first. We'll soon announce an ambassadors program where we can financially support you to lead a discussion, talk, or perhaps a small workshop about rOpenSci. This can happen at your home institution or at a conference and can take various forms. You can run a workshop on your favorite ropensci package(s), present a lightning talk at a meeting or anything along those lines. We can cover lunch/refreshments, some travel or other meeting related expenses. Please get in touch via in...@ropensci.org if this is of interest to you.
