Subject: Next Meeting
Thanks to all for making our film afternoon a success. We had a full house, lots to eat and a good discussion afterwards. thanks in particular to glenn for email promotion, Eileen for cookies and posters, Jan for banner and signup sheets, Bruce for being an effective MC and Georgia for being the master organizer. In response to Spencer request for our next meeting, our next meeting is on the first Wednesday in November that is Nov 4th at Cafe Campbell in Campbell. We should review the call for action from Common Cause (led by Georgia) as well as call for our help from Move to Amend and Ca Clean Money. Will publish a more detailed agenda next week.Fred RehhausserOn Tue, Oct 22, 2013 at 4:28 PM, Spencer Graves <spencer...@prodsyse.com> wrote:
Hi, Fred & Bruce:* NOTE: I don't think I'm yet on the DreamMenders email list. ***
When's the next SJ Rootstrikers / DreamMenders meeting? Tommorrow, Oct. 23, 7:30 PM, Cafe Campbell?
What's the agenda? I have the following:
1. Debriefing from the Oct. 13 event with Common Cause:
1.1. Do we want to become a local chapter of Common Cause?
1.2. If yes, would we like to use the Peace Center? As a "Community Partner", for $120 per year, we can have one two-hour meeting there a month.
1.3. What else?
2. Do we want to organize or help organize a showing of Gar Alperovitz's new movie, "Next American Revolution"? If yes, when, where, and with what other groups?
Spencer
