Hi, All:

1. How much does the banner you want to post weigh? Is it just
heavy paper? Is it heavier cloth? Does it have grommets holes along
the top for hanging?

2. Might the group be interested in becoming a Community Partner
of the San Jos Peace & Justice Center? Most community partners pay a
fee like $125 per year (I forget the exact number), for which they get
space for one 2-hour meeting per month there plus mention on their web
site (http://sanjosepeace.org/index.php?topic=partners), etc. If we
create a San Jos or South SF Bay chapter of Common Cause, this could
provide a standard meeting place for some of our meetings or events. If
we do NOT use their space, we might be able to be listed as a Community
Partner without paying a fee. We'd need to decide whether we want that,
and if yes, plead poverty, etc., to get it without paying the fee.

3. Might the group be interested in listing all our events in
the Peace Center calendar (http://sanjosepeace.org/calendar.php)? We can
do that without becoming an official Community Partner.

Maybe we should wait until after the 13th to see what the center is like and whether it fits our needs.
