The White House is asking us developers to stop writing in C. Oh, not what will I do? I've been using a Swift for all my recent work, so I'll just port over there.

What’s with the click-bait title? Joe Biden didn’t call for anything, the White House Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD) did.
Problems related to insecure software constitute a national security issue. Whether or not developers should move away from C and C++ is debatable, but hardly a new—or absurd—topic.
Perhaps you’d prefer the ONCD focus on whether or not immigrants are eating pets?
