Apologies .. I should have listed the project's objectives in my post.

Being brutal is okay. I appreciate, and perhaps need, any
comments/feedback, brutal or otherwise.

I've been involved in genealogy for over 50 years. I am familiar with
commercial (and non-commercial) genealogy software in knowing what they
offer, but have never utilized any. So, my knowledge of the
comprehensiveness of the data management offered by genealogy software may
be lacking.

However, based upon the design of MELGenKey ... a drop-in module concept
... I envision data management extensions (or any other type of
module/function) will be able to be added at any point.

MELGenKey will run on individual computers. The user will have the option
of how to privatize his or her data. The user may sync his or her data in
part or in full with Ancestry/etc (and vice-versa) depending, of course,
on permissions.
