Congrats and big THANKS to Nica and Noel for making our very first (offline) RootsCamps AMAZING. They were both lots of fun and honestly engaging -- lots of great connections were made, some of which are already bearing fruit in new projects and partnerships.

Next up is our big debrief in DC, Dec 2-3.
We've got 220 signups, and are getting on the phone this week to recruit more people who distinguished themselves on-the-ground on campaigns this year, as well as to increase the participant diversity. So far:
https://rootscamp.pbwiki.com/RootsCampDCAttendeesThanks to David Boyle, as well as Rochelle, Domingo, Matt and everyone else who has helped with sponsorship outreach, we've raised enough money to cover the cost of space and (almost) food. We're hoping to raise a few more bucks to offer limited travel stipends.
I figure there's no reason for a big call this week. Do others think we should continue with the weekly calls? Or just do them ad-hoc as needed?
