Hey all. Noel can't make the noon calls.
Can we move the Monday calls to 1:30E/10:30P?

thanks,
roz

P.S. Here are some notes from today's call:

>>strategy shift:

-end of old strategy: trying to ID 1 point person in various cities to run w RootsCamp + orgs with big lists of '06 organizers, so that once there was a point in 5+ cities, orgs would roll out to their lists, fill up events --> really wasn't working, pple not stepping up
-shift to new strategy: (1) DC = heavy recruitment of both senior-level strategy peeps + star '06 organizers (running killer field/comm/internet programs) + netroots leaders; (2) all pitch in to support existing events = NY, SF, Bloomington, (3) if new rootscamps pop up, be supportive but don't offer org resources + encourage them to go to a rootscamp or barcamp first + no suggested timeline (not trying to push 11/18-19)

>>updates:

-zack doing lots of DC invites; Q: how to ID races w. African Amer or Latino candidates we should reach out to?
-ginny in cleveland; talking to progress now OH and CO re them putting on 2 spinoff events; inviting EPs to NY, SF, and DC events (and CO and OH if they happen)
-roz handling DC logistics, following up on lots of outreach to orgs coming home to roost now; coord w Micah, Matt, Cammie, Domingo, Judith, others...
-domingo doing outreach to Grassroots Solutions, Change to Win, SEIU, union leaders to invite them to DC (also SF, NYC) + ask for recommendations of 2-5 union leaders (or organizers) doing stand-out work this year locally to invite to DC;
-judith: making ask of AFL to sponsor space for DC event
-micah: was coord w Energy Action, not sure of status
