Dear ROOT and Python enthusiasts,

Noel Dawe and I are doing a rootpy ( see www.rootpy.org ) coding spring in Heidelberg Nov 19 - 21, 2012 at MPIK ( see http://www.mpi-hd.mpg.de ).
Monday and Tuesday is for discussions / coding and Wednesday morning Noel will give a talk on rootpy and we'll do a two-hour tutorial.

Anyone is very welcome to join!
If you're a ROOT and / or Python beginner, you can learn more with experts in the room and help e.g. by writing examples, tests, documentation.

There's plenty of things to be done, have a look here and add your favourite missing rootpy feature if it's not there already:
https://github.com/rootpy/rootpy/issues

We haven't applied for any funding, so unfortunately you'll have to get funding for your train ticket and hostel yourself.

If you'd like to join or you have any questions, please ask here or send a private email to Noel and me.

Noel and Christoph
