Using Last.fm and the Roomware software this weekend in Rotterdam, Netherlands

Hi Roomware members,

This weekend the music weblog Eclectro (eclectro.nl) organizes its
first party in De Unie in Rotterdam. And we are using the Roomware
software. We will ask visitors to change the bluetooth name of their
mobile phones into their Last.fm username.

We are using Roomware to scan names and show the Last.fm similarity
(percentage / top artists) between two random people. The idea is to
make it easier to meet new people.

As a project member I thought you might like to know about this. If
you have tips or ideas please share them with me. It's the first time
I'm using Roomware. I'm not a very technical guy, but I got it to work
quite fast :)

The installation worked very well this weekend. Most people don't
understand that all it takes is changing their bluetooth name. They
really like seeing their avatar on a screen.
