Choosing currency when making an API request

Hi,

I can't seem to find a way to choose the currency when making an API request. Is it something that is not possible at the moment or just not documented ?

Hi Ivan,

I'm not from Roomorama, however here is my point of view.

I think you are trying to create a new listing and would like to define the rates' currency, is that correct? If so, it doesn't seem documented but I guess it's with the option "currency_pre" as this one is returned when recovering a listing.

What still makes me doubt is that I can't find how to do it from the admin neither.

You can simply give it a try, but an official reply would be ideal anyway as I guess more people will face this issue.

Hello all,

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. I'm assuming like Sébastien that you are referring to the property creation API call.

We've now added the ability for you to specify the currency of your listing (this used to default to the currency of the country you were posting in) and have added this to the documentation.

Sebastien, we apologize for the currency_pre parameter, this should actually be currency_code (our designer went trigger-happy with the search and replace function). 

I have fixed all the bad parameter names that were affected so things should now be back to normal.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you experience any more issues with the use of the API or have any further functionality you would like to see implemented.

In fact I was talking about the "Find properties" method of the Search API in which there is no "currency_code" parameter (although it's present in the output).
