Hours: Part Time

The Museum runs a successful retail operation, which generates an annual
income of over £3.5 million. The Museum has shops at all the sites and
also offers a Mail Order Service. In addition to retailing, the
Department of Retail & Admissions is responsible for the busy
admissions, which is the first point of contact that visitors have with
The Museum. The shops sell a wide range of books, posters, postcards,
videos, audio cassettes, and gifts, which range from pocket money
products to expensive collectors' items. Merchandise and publications
are wide-ranging, covering themes from military history to wartime food.

We currently have a part time alternate weekend vacancy in our busy
museum shop at Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms. To join our
successful and friendly team you will need to have experience of working
in retail or a similar environment, good visual merchandising skills, a
strong commitment to customer care, good communication skills, and an
interest in twentieth century history.
