Ceph being very slow on git clone a repo and maven

Ive tried CephFs and CephRbd to git clone a git repository which has roughly 4 gb and after doing maven clean install and it's taking over 1.5h to do this job.

Is there any suggestion to improve the performance here?

Ceph is deployed using rook in kubernetes.
