Lightning Talks

Dear all, as we approach the end of March (hope that everyone has had a fruitful and productive first quarter of 2025!), there has been good news at our institute, namely the significant progress made in the launching of RIIS, among other things. In light of the positivity that has been absent in our community for close to a year, would people be interested in presenting Lightning Talks some time in April or May? If so, please feel free to sign up here. As always, please do not reply to this thread but get in touch on Discord #lightning-talks and/or by email (keit...@igdore.org). We had a very constructive session last time and we hope to follow this up with another super session at our next event, whenever that may be. 

PS I deliberately avoid sending this message on 1st April so that you do not think that this is all a joke.

Dear all, it has been a while since I last posted, even though much has been going on at our institute and its important transition. I intend to address some of the recently made comments in due course, but in the meantime this is a reminder that we are all welcome to share our present and ongoing research in the form of Lightning Talks which we can organise for this month and next. Our LT events have been on hold since February and summer seems to be a good time to reboot our beloved and popular series. Hope everyone is doing well!
