Is ronin still viable?

I tried to follow the instructions that are on ronin-web.org in the getting started section, but I get errors!

I notice that the last traffic on this site is from 2012. Is anybody using Ronin?

Hi Ron,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Ronin hasn’t been maintained since the original Gosu releases.

I’ve been working on and off on a gosu web framework based on SparkJava called SparkGS:

Unfortunately I haven’t updated it yet to use the latest release of Gosu, which is Java8 compatible and was just released today:

  http://gosu-lang.github.io/2015/06/25/new-open-source-gosu-1.6.1.html

It shouldn’t be too much work to get it going, but it won’t be much fun to play with until the new IntelliJ plugin is released as well.
