Hi Mal,
 
The road is in pretty awful shape at the moment, but we are enjoying a few rain-free weeks, so it seems to me that this would be a logical time to get it scraped. Could you please ask Dries if he would be able to take this on? It might also be a good time to add on some new material in a few places, if Dries is prepared to do so and we have the funds to pay for it.
 
If Dries is prepared to do some work on the road, could you please emphasise that he should not do anything on the section between David's gate and the N7? As you know, David maintains this section himself (and bless him for it!), and I know that what Dries does is actually counter-productive for him and sets his maintenance back considerably. In fact, Dries only needs to do the section from Dageraad onwards, since the road between David's gate and Dageraad is in great shape since it was worked on for yesterday's show.

Hi Louise -

Good idea.  I will contact Dries this evening when I get home from work.  I will make the work fit inside the budget of the money in the account, and with luck there will still be money left over for later in the winter.
