Dear friends,
It is my pleasure to announce you that the Romanian movie Police,
Adjective, by Corneliu Porumboiu will be screened in Toronto,
Vancouver and Edmonton.
Police, Adjective won the Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section
at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
The film is the official Romanian entry for the Academy Award for Best
Foreign Language Film at the 2010 Academy Awards.
Ultimately both a dissection of language and a penetrating social
critique, Police, Adjective is a masterpiece of intelligent,
thoughtful cinema that strikes with equal force at the heart and the
mind.
