Dear friends,
It is with great pleasure that I resume my announcements about Romanian film-related events in Madison.
First of all, we are only a few weeks away from having the 4th edition of the Romanian film festival, organized by CREECA and the Romanian Cultural Institute. The dates for this year are March 18-20, 2010, the same location, MMoCA's Lecture Hall and we have some very good films in the programme we can't wait to share with you. The only reason I am not divulging the titles at the moment is because we are still waiting for a final confirmation from some of the production companies.
Our website its still at the same address (see bottom of the message) and is being updated, so soon you will be able to check it for details.
The other news I have is about the Romanian film Police, Adjective, directed by Corneliu Porumboiu (of 12:08 East of Bucharest). The movie is scheduled for 2/26 and 2/27 at WUD, on campus. For details see the link below.
