UN OHCHR Minorities Fellowships

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
has issued a call for applications for (i) a Senior Minorities Fellow
and (ii) Arabic Language Minorities Fellows. The deadline for
applications is 31 May 2011.

Outline
The Senior Fellowship provides an opportunity for a member of a
national, ethnic, religious or linguistic minority to work with OHCHR
from 2 October to 16 December 2011 while the
Arabic fellowship programme will take place from 14 November to 16
December 2011, giving five (5) fellows the opportunity to learn more
about the promotion and protection of minority rights, OHCHR, and the
UN system as well give them an opportunity to attend the 4th session
of the Forum on Minority Issues.
