This is my first time using this forum so I don't know if this is the right place or the right way to post. I haven't seen a similar post explaining exactly the problem I'm having but maybe i'm wrong.
As said in the title, when I use the mouse to move the camera while pointing at the edge of the screen (on the campaign map or in battle), the game is significantly slowed down. I don't have this problem when it comes to zooming, or when I use the keyboard to move the camera. I thought the problem might be with my mouse but even with another mouse it's the same thing. I then thought it was the performance of my PC, but I have all the other total wars and I don't encounter this problem on any of them, and my graphic card and processor are relatively new ( especially since as I said I don't have this problem with the keyboard. And it is the same when I use lower configuration). I encounter this problem on all campaigns and battles in the game and with all factions.
Hi @akkadiencesar#7785
We're looking into this at the moment, but I can tell your drivers are out of date, this can often lead to performance issues, can you try updating your drivers and see if these restores the issue in the meantime?

Thank you
im having an issue where holding down the middle mouse button occasionally releases when i either move the mouse or slightly scroll with the mouse scroller, this causes a stutter my camera control, not game breaking but its a major annoyance, i thought it wasmy mouse but it only happens in tww3.
Hi @akkadiencesar#7785
I didn't experience any lag when using the mouse or keyboard in house or when holding down the center mouse button, I would be interested to see your modified.log and a screenshot of your ingame settings.
Would you mind submitting them so I can further investigate.
Thank you.
Are you looking for the ultimate gamers keyboard? We say the ultimate because you are supplied with 18 quick shortcut keys, in addition to a crisp LCD screen that can display a myriad of useful information.
While on the LCD topic though, I am rather disappointed with the lack of support for many games that we all play. While Logitech does offer updates to the software, they are not coming out at an acceptable speed. However, not all hope is lost. The boys and girls over at G15mods and G15forums have taken up the challenge and are working on all sorts of applets for you to use with your G15. There is even a Counter Strike: Source applet out that looks promising.
There you have it folks. The G15 performed just the way I expected a Logitech keyboard to perform. They have not made a keyboard that I have not liked and the G15 continues this tradition to the present day. I have been using the G15 on my personal computer for the past 2 weeks and I am happy to report 0 problems. While the price of $75 is a bit much for a keyboard, you do get a solid keyboard with an LCD screen on it. This is something that will certainly turn a few heads at the next LAN party you attend.
One more thing before I issue a score is that the guys and girls over at the 2 fan sites listed above, G15forums and G15mods, have put in a lot of work and should you get the G15, please stop by and see what they have to offer. I guarantee that you will find something that you like.
With all is said and done, I am awarding the Logitech G15 a solid 9. The G15 is a keyboard with so many options and so many features that almost anyone can find something about this keyboard that they like.

I read a post on LinkedIn several weeks back about how it can be virtually seamless to change classroom skills over to technological skills. The claim was that paper and pencil/pen can easily translate to keyboarding. The article had so many good points about how we can just transition our students - what are digital natives - without much worry. I tend to disagree.
There's something about pencil and paper.
I hope there are readers looking at this blog who agree that pencil to paper is not like keyboarding. From the traditional position of the wrist on its side to the beautiful ability for the pencil to move in circular or "doodling" fashion; this is not so easily replaceable through 'typing.' I love to keyboard. I often challenge my own students to races, which they love.
However, I don't think that we write enough with pencils/pens and paper. Keyboards don't flow - even the best stylus pads and pens don't really do it for me. I like the roll of a pen, and the real mark made (albeit erasable) with a pencil.
The feel of real materials in your hands.
How many of you think that 3D printers are amazing? (Hoping for raised hands). Me too. But how many of us out here get that sighing feeling when we're 'crafting' something. I don't think the Maker Movement will ever go away, because we are natural tinkerers. While my personal favorite idea is to print chocolate (so much for the geek side of 3D printing), I like the idea of pulling out the ingredients and materials, melting the ingredients...you know the rest. Home made.
We continue to see so many wonderful benefits to technology in the classroom.
I see technological breakthroughs on a constant basis. My students can find ways to surprise me all of the time with their talents in coding, graphic arts, office programs and deft abilities to navigate. Whether they are at the top of their class, or struggling learners, technology seems to level many fields that sit in-between their abilities. Everyone wins. And everyone, from young to old ought to have good techno-abilities on some level.
To buck the all-tech trend, I don't see total-tech taking over. We are doodlers, tinkers, writers of journals, keepers of engineering designs, thought-makers, three-hole-punch in the new ring binder enthusiasts, and purveyors of ideas on napkins. I hope that trend does not totally take shape. What do you think?
