It is irony that our brothers from shia background accuse ahl al sunnah of bidah whereas its false allegation. because they doesn't do anything which is not proven from the rasulallah PBUH as mentioned in authentic hadith as per sunni hadith scholarship. But it is famous custom of shia masses today that they hold such beleifs and practices which don't have any proof from authentic hadith as per shia scholarship. As for example, shia of today add 'Aliun Waliullah' in adhan, iqamah and even in tashahhud. But it has no textual basis in authentic shia hadith collection. While in shia hadith collection it is clearly stated from imams that it is harram to cry, shout, doing matm for deceased but yet shia masses do all this in ashura. only thing that is alowed is that to weep without shouting, feeling grief, shedding tears from eye. Moreover after hussain, may Allah be pleased with him, which imam commemorated his death anniversery with such a manner as today?
Majority of shia now have a practice of saying 'ya ali madad'. which hadith in shia collection recommend to do that? If you say 'ya ali, pray to your Lord for me, or 'Or ya Allah help me for the sake of ali' then it is less problematic but yet it is bidah because no proof that imams can hear you. If you say they are martyrs, so they are alive as stated in the quran then my question is who told you that they are such alive that they are now all hearing and all seeing such that if any man from any part of world calls him he can hear you? Because this is a matter of unseen or ghaib. and in case of ghaib no following of personal opinion can be permitted based on self speculation. ijtihad and analogy only permitted in fiqhi or jurisprudence related matters.
On the other hand all the bidah accusations against ahl al sunnah are false. whether it is azan, taraweeh, banning of mutah etc. because they have traditions from the prophet PBUH himself regarding that. but vast shia masses do things which have no basis in sound shia hidith collections

No Shi'a believes that 'ash hadu anna Ali wali Allah' is a wajib part of the adhan, it is recommened, so this practise is not haram. For years after the Holy Prophet's (sawa) death people cursed the name of Imam Ali (as) and we honour him because Rasuallah himself said that Ali was to him as Aaron was to Moses (as). And those who the Prophet love, Allah (swt) Himself loves.
In addition, it is not haram to cry and show grief over a deceased person. In the books of Ahlul Sunnah you will find hadiths concerning the wives of the Prophet (sawa) who wailed, cried and slapped their faces in grief when they found out that their husband had died. And all of the Imams of Ahlulbayt (as) and their companions commemorated the death of Imam Hussain (as). The first person to hold majalis in his honour was his sister Zainab (sa) and today we do exactly the same thing. Imam Reza (as) said tthe one for whom the day of Ashura is a day of tragedy, grief and weeping, Allah The Mighty, The Glorious, shall make the Day of Judgement, a day of joy and happiness for him.' (Bihar al Anwar)

It surprises me how much you are concerned with Shi'a practises that you pass by the obvious innovations that you have mentioned above. Show us a source that says 'as salatu khairum minam naum' was part of the original adhan. You won't find one because Umar ibn al Khattab introduced it himself and took out 'hayya ala khayran amal.' And taraweeh - where is your proof that Prophet Muhammad (sawa) advised praying Taraweeh in congregation. The Prophet advised people to pray the night prayer, but forbid them from doing in congregation - yet again it was Umar ibn al Khattab who innovated this. And mutah, apart from the day of Khaybar, give us one hadith that says that Rasuallah (sawa) forbade Mutah permanently.
Umar ibn Al-Khattab added "ان الصلاة خير من النوم" to your version of the athan, after he was trying to sleep through fajr prayers and someone screamed that sentence outside his door so he'd wake up. Yet none from your mathhab started chanting "bid'aa" here and there.
Thanks for your precise opinion. it is mere bigotry to say 'umayyad hadith'. you are shia so by default you assumed the hadith compiled by great muhaddiths and ulama of ahl al sunnah as ummayad hadith. subhanallah. its a staunch ignorance regarding vigorous and massive scholarship of hadith from ahl al sunnah. it has firm and established methodology. while shia hadith methodology is weak. it has no firm methodology. hadith from a group of narrator is considered sahih while hadith narrated by the same narrators is considered weak. as for example the hadith mentioning quran has 17000 verses is considered weak for the ground that it contradicts quranic promise to preserve the quran while all the narrators of this hadith are thiqah or trustworthy according to shia rijal. even allama majlisi compelled to say that 'the hadiths regarding omission and corruption of quran is mutawatir. if you reject these hadiths then authenticity of all shia hadith narration will be jeopardised'. shias have belief in hidden imam mahdi. but according to shia hadith rijal standard no sahih and unquestionable hadiths which beyond doubt prove existence of so called hidden imam. even the existence of his mother a matter of doubt and question.
